Over the past several months, we’ve been testing and refining two new component updates for the DYE MXR. The new KDP Breech Sleeve and IM Series MXR Body Board updates are built through extensive field use and feedback from professional and divisional players, MXR owners, and the paintball community. Our focus was based on improving reliability, durability, and overall performance.

KDP Breech Sleeve

Engineered for durability and consistent performance.

  • One-piece design with leaf-spring style detents 

  • Broad face detent face for improved ball handling, control, and consistent feeding

  • Breech lock tabs help prevent “shoot-out” during dry fire

IM Series MXR Body Board

Faster response. Stronger, more reliable electronics.

  • Easy drop-in replacement, same simple install process as the original body board 

  • One-piece PCB design with direct-mounted eyes 

  • Increased eye strength and improved reliability 

  • Faster eye response time 

  • Conformal coating to protect against corrosion, moisture, humidity, and dust 

  • Simple disassembly for cleaning

  • Integrated body board / eye sensor support

The MXR is designed to perform at the highest level while giving players the ability to tailor their setup. With the addition of the new KDP Breech Sleeve, MXR owners now have the option to run either the original TAAC Aluminum Sleeve or the new KDP Breech Sleeve, depending on personal preference.
